Gail Smith is the Vice President of Policyholder Administration and Claims at LifePlans. In this role Gail is responsible for leading the LifePlans Third Party Administration (TPA) operation for new and existing clients. She is responsible for developing and implementing appropriate risk strategies and operational processes to meet the stated goals of TPA clients as well as to assure compliance with state requirements.
Gail has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry as a senior operations executive. Prior to joining LifePlans, Gail was the Assistant Vice President of Life Operations and Call Center for Sun Life Insurance Company of Canada, managing a staff of over 100 support U. S. Individual Life services. As Vice President of Long-Term Care Operations at MetLife Insurance Company, Gail led a team that managed new business, underwriting and administration, claims, and licensing and commissions. Gail also had responsibilities for TPA and for off-shoring activities.
Gail received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Montclair State College.
